It just occurred to me that doing forced induction on an engine which is already at 11:1 may work very well if the fuel burned was e85.

Wouldn't that require some kind of retrofit? Meaning, more money to be spent to get this engine to work with boost?

I'm thinking that no matter how you slice it, if you stroke the 4.6 to a 5.0, that's about $3k. With forged internals, you can run much more boost safely, much more than you could (with what we know so far) with the coyote 5.0

Yikes! $8,100 just for the stuff not including labor. Can you say just trade your car in??

For under 10K you can get a good built engine. Again, in my opinion, not worth the swap
