Here is honest Dealer #4 I have located in Alabama. WOW! I didn't think there were any. I like the ones that don't BS me.

April,

The Car would have a retail price (MSRP) of $21515. There is a hold on the Manuel transmission due to lack of parts, but I don't think it would delay it too long. You can call me at 256/773/2578 or e-mail me at jpreuitt@eddiepreuittford.com. I don't have any news on any rebates or incentives as of now on the 05 Mustang. I hope you will consider us when you order your vehicle.

Thanks and have a great day!

Oops
Sent you the PM about Long Lewis- Thought you were talking Jim Skinner till I actually read the post.

LL gave me a price of

April
The current selling price of that exact Mustang is $20,030. Thanks. (Everyone else gave me $21,515.)

Good dealer in Ma.
Ordered my 05 Mustang Wednesday night at York Ford in Saugus Ma.
As most have found on this forum I had more information than the dealer!
The sales manager was surprised when I showed him prices ordering codes etc.
Once he knew that I was a serious buyer he was very helpful and put an order in for me saying that mine was the last of his current alocation .
I put refundable $500.00 deposit down and left with a smile after telling him that I belonged to the American Quarter Horse and had a $500. discount.
(Thanks Brad )
I ended up paying under invoice

McCafferty Ford In PA Charging A "ADDENDUM" Price!!

I just received a call back from my supposedly honest guys in PA. He indicated to me that a car similar to the one I'm looking for is scheduled to be in shortly BUT they are going to be charging a $2,500 ADDENDUM price on the vehicle. Translation: Lose an additiontional $2,500 the moment you purchase the vehicle.

I will not be calling these guys back for this reason. It's too bad Ford doesn't do something about the "Pricing addendum"(Dealer ripoff) issue.

As of today, they have changed their minds. There will be NO PRICING ADDENDUM. He'll be faxing me the window sticker of this car tomorrow. If we can work it out, this may be it.

Yeah, the Chrysler and Dodge dealers around here call it "Marketing Adjustment"! The first PT Cruisers that came in were "adjusted" $4000! the first Dodge SRT Ram they got in has been adjusted from the sticker of over $47,000 to over $52,000! Rip off artists! If it weren't for qualifing for a employee discount, I would never look at a Chrysler product in this town. And yes, I have a FORD on ORDER!!!! Does that tell them anything?

"addendum pricing" and "marketing adjustments" are tools that dealers use to mark up prices, they're crooked dealerships, not something that Ford can do about it unfortunately... unless Ford told them to sell all vehicles at MSRP, much like Saturn does. Dealers do what dealers do, just say "screw you" and take your business elsewhere. Good dealers stay in business, bad dealers go outta business within a few years.

No disrespect to dealers on this forum, but Ford NEEDS a direct purchase program. As in buying directly from Ford Motor Company. No middleman means benifits for customers and direct profit for Ford. :bang:

I was sent to Green Ford in Greensboro, NC by the Costco Auto Program. They called me and I called back, the guy I spoke with said the 05 Mustang wasn't part of the program because it was a limited edition. I told him that it wasn't, its a full production model. He then said he misspoke and meant to say they would be hard to get and wouldn't be arriving until after Thanksgiving. I then told him I would be buying my 05 Mustang from another dealer and thanks for your time.
He corrected himself about the first issue, the second issue is true.

Now its;
the boss said let em go.

I Personally Like Jim Skinners commercials- Those two fools amuse the snot out of me.

Maloy is aggravating- SIMPLY because ANY dealership using kids to advertise- aggravate me. Maloy being the ford dealer, several others too.

In a few short hours, I GET TO PLAY WITH A LL GT!! I get $21,515 and a salesman who knows his stuff.(Except for the Merlot color, and Mustangs currently being at 1/4 production). I like. I am eating my words, because I swore I would never go to this dealer(Ernest Mccarty) but hey... I formed my opinion of this place on one of their CREEPY used car guys.

Placed an order 10-09-04 for a 2005 mustang GT and was given a 1000.00 pre-order discount. Mustang sale was no problem, the trade-in was a headache. I ended up going to CarMax and they gave me full trade-in value. I got an additional 2000.00 going thru CarMax. I would recommend this route to anyone who plans on using a trade-in on any vehicle purchase. Dealer I purchased my Mustang from lost an additional sale because they were not honest, they would have made more money on my trade-in than the 05 Mustang. But I am now a happy camper and will sit back and wait for my 05 stang.

Order: Gt Premium, Red Fire met., ft side air bags, IUP, Int accent pkg, anti theft alarm, lock nuts

Thumbs up

Need an advice. Got a quote from a NY dealer. It's $21,500 for a V6 Premium: Interior Upgrade Package, ABS and tranction control , Front Side Airbags, Manual Transmission,Active Anti-Theft System, Wheel Locking Kits . This is about $1,300 over invoice. Feels like this is too much even for a new "hot" car. What do you gents and ladies think? Anyone knows of a dealer in NY city or NJ who can do better? Thank you!

not from anywhere near where you are but that is a bit high. I ordered the exact same car, and got $500 over invoice - AQHA $500 incentive, so invoice pricing. My advice is shop around more and then wait until january when the manual V6's will start bein delivered.

good luck
