MSRP for that car should be $27,825 and invoice $25,446. With this deal you will be about $1,500 above invoice or about $887 below sticker. It would be a good deal if other dealerships are charging above sticker on the ones they have.

For $500 over Invoice, I may have to jump on that! and get the memebership to AQHA for another $500 off.
I'm 17 and am more or less clueless as to how the whole car-buying system works. If anyone could explain this to me I'd greatly appreciate it.
Also, how much would I have to actually and over to get the following car?
2005 Mustang GT Premium
Black Clearcoat/Dark Charcoal with Color Accent
IUP
Shaker 1000 subwoofer system
Supposedly the final price (MSRP?) according to the 'build-your-own-mustang' is $28,250.00

Hey 68ShelbyGT500KR
I talked to them about a GT. They had one but it's gone.
I have dealt with Cochise when he was at another place.
I think I am going to order one soon.
Get with them ... They can get you good deal, better than I have read about!!!
They can ship to a dealer near you if you want.
They are both fleet guys.

To order this vehicle I will need a 1,000.00 dollar ck that I will hold
until Ford Generates the Vin #. That normally takes 2 to 4 days. At that
time I will deposit the check and I will not be able to refund the check.
That is company policy for all custom orders. That money will be applied to
the car when it comes in.
For those of you in the Austin area- Leif Johnson Ford, Austin- sold me an 05 Premium GT with all the extras for $500 under invoice- ordered 10/2.... Riata Ford in Elgin was selling/ quoted my price as straight invoice...
I'm in Washington just sat in a new V6, the lot had sold it to a guy for 2,500 over MSRP the sticker read $23,500. The guy got 12k for trading in his 04. What is the best way for me to get a V6 at around 20-21k. Please let me know...

Has anyone gotten any deals in SoCal? I feel like kicking myself for not ordering before the hype got way out of control. I'm in the L.A. area but I wouldn't driving if I can get a good deal. Also can someone explain how tha AQHA incentive thing works? Thanks.
It seems some dealers are giving a few people here good deals. Some dealers are ripoffs. I priced a V6 Premium at FordDirect.com, then I clicked "Check Inventory" The local dealer only had 2 GTs in stock. MSRP's were 28 something (manual) & 29 something (automatic) I go to the dealer & he's got the Black GT in the showroom. This was the car listed at 28 grand & change on Ford Direct. The dealer marked it up to $36,000. They sold it for about $34,000. I learned thru him & 1 other dealer that's what they do on cars in stock. He sold a V6 for $3,000 over MSRP. They'll give me MSRP, no more, no less if I order my car thru them, which is what I'd have to do anyway. The MSRP for my V6 Premium is $20,995 after Sport Apperance, Interior Upgrade, & Anti-Theft System added. That's the best deal I've gotten. The other dealer had someone order thru them & he still charged $1,000 over MSRP. They aren't selling below MSRP at this time because of demand I was told. This is in Philadelphia, PA.
Am I foolish for paying MSRP?
