Wow man. Sorry to hear how bad it is. Dude timed it way wrong and pistons hit the valves. Sucks man. Are you going the rebuild route or new parts route?

So the valve springs were installed upside down so that's why my rockers are Broken and my rods are bent.

Hi I'm new to forum and to these new mustangs! I bought a house a few weeks ago with package deal including a 05 gt 5 speed that had minor damage from hitting a ditch. Body work was replaced but they had wires ran from starter to start the car. Figure it's a bad starter but have read few other forums and seen people haveing problem with the anti-teft or chip in key were they turned car off and would not turn back over. Mine if you try they key you can hear relay click but nothing else, but if you touch the wires to short it it would start right up and run perfect till few days ago and now it's sounding and acting same as if I tried the key. I am mechanical inclined and would say starter is bad or nutral safty went out but since I know nothing about the car or what last owner might have messed with since they had idea to short starter rather than fix it properly I was wondering if anyone has had similar problem or idea were to start.

I wondered what happened with this thread.
Missed the posts about the cluster eff 'mechanic'.
