I installed a strut tower brace the other day.
BBK brand and WOW!
It made a huge difference,
it got rid of a lot of cowl shake and truly tightened up the car!
It drives so much better on rough roads and freeway on ramps!
I have put strut tower braces on other cars and noticed no change to a small amount of change, but I highly recommend any one with a convertible fox body to install a strut tower brace!

Installed my new rear gears! 3.55 ratio!
Along with new spedo gear!
First time doing rear gears, learned a few things!
Next time I will take the axle out of the car,
it was a pain doing it on jack stands and laying under the car!
But it was worth it, took about 5 hrs total taking my time by myself.
Total cost $240 for all the parts!
Drives much better, acceleration is much better
and still is only at 2,500 RPM @ 80mph!

This was on my 1990 mustang, not my 2014!
2014 has track pack "3.73" gears!
1990 dumb *** ford package "2.73" gears
At least ford got much smarter through the years!

Went to the track last night!
Sacramento raceway Wendsday night drags!
It was mustang night!
Bracket racing!
She is not the fastest!
Best time of 15.15 @ 90.1 mph!
(She is bone stock with an auto trans!)
But I did win the mustang lane!

I'm looking to put some street tires on the car.
It has full race slicks now.
Rear rims 15x8
I'm thinking rear
Size 255/60/15
Would like something that has good straight line traction!
Not wanting to go with drag radials, just the best street tire.
And the front are 4" wide rims
So I was thinking
Size 165/80/15
Not many choices in these sizes so tough choices!

Thought I would give a quick update.
I decided on yet a different tire and wheel combo.
Chrome factory 16" pony rims with Firestone firehawks!
Size 225/55/16 (stock size)
I think this is the perfect look for this car!

Just an update to this old thread!
My car got rear ended and considered totaled by the insurance company!
I'm either going to sell as is with a salvaged title, or part it out!
Sad to see a limited production mustang die!
