mustang v6 2015 has weird sound
#2
If I recall correctly it was the accessory belt that makes that noise. This seems to be a "normal" thing as Ford has never been able to fix it for me. It tends to happen only when you start the car again after having it shut off for 30-45 minutes (if you were shopping for example) and the temperatures are in that sweet spot to make this noise and goes away once the engine is fully warm again.
Shame to see that it was never resolved with the 15 and 16's as it has existed since the 2011+ models.

You can, again the issue is that they need to be able to replicate it in order to warranty it, so the conditions have to be just perfect (letting the car sit for about an hour after driving it to the dealership and then starting it back up) for the squeal to occur.
Not my video, but exact same sound you're hearing (and note how he mentions it is not a cold start)
Skip to 0:40 to hear it.
