Front fenders are on the car, hood and doors are ready. I was told today that it will be primed and ready for paint by next Saturday.

Well as usual the project is going slower than I would like. Just got the undercoating done . This is like a finer grain truck bedliner. Classic Recreations is putting this on all of their Shelby licensed Shelby GT500CR's.

I'm with you man! I've put the body/paint on hold and am concentrating on tuning in the suspension. Are you going through the same conundrum with wheels/tires? I've bounced from 16s down to 15s, and 295s to 275s, all the way down to 255s just to try to find a combo that looks right and provides the biggest contact patch. I may have to order custom wheels for the rear.
No offense here, but I don't think I'd want that bedliner in the engine bay and especially not on any of the steering linkage. Of course you'll probably be laughing at me when I have to pay for a new cowl in 5-10 years

I wasnt a fan of it at first, but after seeing it in numerous cars produced by Classic Recreations, I really became a believer. It isn't near as "bedliner" looking in person. It is really exaggerated by the camera flash. Once the car is back together it doesn't look out of place at all.
As far as suspension/tires, the suspension you see in my pics is coming off. I'm going with the Total Control Products (TCP) coilover conversion, which uses the upper and lower stock control arm. I just ordered it and we will install it as soon as the car is painted. My wheels are the 15" American Racing Torq Thrusts with the spokes painted darker to match the movie car. My tires are 215 60R 15's. They are the wheels and tires seen in the first pics I posted of this car when I bought it.

My Dealer sprayed an undercoating that looks similar..

Guess it's about time for an update. The car is painted, wiring is run throughout the car, engine is in, new front suspension is in. I'll post some pics soon.
