Sorry about the strep throat, very painful. Great price I hope I'm half that lucky when I'm ready to buy.

Don't have a photo of it on the block yet because I haven't decided who I'm going to order it from yet. Here's a link to the Powerjection III by professional products. I'm probably going to be ordering it within the next few weeks. I also have to figure out what intake it's going to sit on top of.

I've had a ton of stuff going on besides being sick, but I promise, promise, promise that I'll have some pics posted soon.

cool looks like a hollowed out 4bbl Demon carb.. very nice!

I've seen similar setups that mimic the look of say a 6 pack for Mopars and such.
Love these things!

Yes, it looks good. I wonder how much better gas mileage you could expect?

I called them up and they said it varies. He said some people only got 5 MPG more, and some doubled their gas mileage!

It could pay for itself rather quickly if it doubled your mileage!

The engine builder just got all the parts back from the machinist. The heads are assembled, rotating assembly is balanced, etc. I ordered an Edelbrock dual plane intake (non polished) because Im not going for the bling look. Also took the engine builder and machinist's advice and bought the Ford Racing B-303 cam. Ordered them from Summit and got them in two days!!!!!! Here are pics of the intake and cam. I'll get the rest of the engine pics when I drop these parts off with him on Monday.

Looks good!

When do you think you'll have the engine all assembled and ready to put in?

You're going to have a REALLY nice car when you're done!

The motor should be done in a few weeks. It may even be done this week. All he was waiting on was for me to bring the cam shaft and intake. I'm ordering the EFI this week and then I need to pick out some valve covers.

The car is another story. It's taking longer than I anticipated, which isn't a bad thing. The guys at Classic Recreations have been really busy and I'm still down on the list a little bit. They may get started on it this week or next.

If I can have the whole thing done by this fall I'd be very happy. Time will tell.

UPDATED ENGINE PICS

Got some updated pics of the 302. It's really coming along nicely. Had to take the oil pan and distributor by the guy's shop and snapped a few pics while I was there. Wish the paint and body work was progressing as fast as the motor.

Heads are in place and we are now having some issues with making all the pulley's line up. I'm going to have to go with a different harmonic balancer. I did order the Professional Products Powerjection III from Summit. It's on back order, but Summit matched another internet price which was over $300.00 less than Summit's listed price. (THANKS SUMMIT!!!) Btw, anyone thinking about this kit might want to purchase it before March 1st. It goes up $200 on March 1. Here are the latest pics. Sorry it's going at a snail's pace, but it's allowing me to stash some money aside as it goes.
