He is highly recommended on that forum for his work. He also works at one of the custom shops here in town.

Met the paint guy today.

Paint only - $300-400
Primer and paint- $500-600

I love those prices. He also is going to teach me some things.

I'm not sure. The guy said he would get back to me about it. He did say though we will have it done in a couple weeks.

Thought I would update. Trying to finalize my color choice, hope to order early next week.

It is going to be either PPG Candy Apple Red or HOK(House of Kolor) Blue Blood. The HOK is more expensive, but their paint is amazing and I would spend the extra money for it.

Well, I've always said that Mustangs looked good in Candy Apple! But then I'm a red car kind of guy!

Oh! The blue in the name tricked me!

It;s a little orange for me, but about half way between those two is a 65 color cal Rangoon Red" which I'm thinking about painting my car in. Maybe you could consider that?

The 2011 Race Red is close to Rangon Red. I can't resist it!

The blue in the name got me too at first. When I read it for the first time and saw a picture I was like .

I was looking at Kosmic Red, but it is a brighter color and has more orange in it. If I had to repaint the entire car (jambs, under hood, and under trunk) I would have gone with brandywine. That color is .

<< Brandywine

Dark colors are hard to take care of. I would go for a little lighter red.

My 08 GT is almost that color. Nice when it's clean!
