When are you going to get it painted?

That's what I want to see!

I am looking at April 3rd for paint. Paint guy said that weekend would work, now all I have to do is get the paint booth and finish sanding the mustang.

OK, sounds good. I'm sure your car will look great with a new coat of paint.

Here's a link to a page with some shots of a pre production Mustang in Rangoon Red. This is the color I'd like to get mine painted some day.

Well header is going to take 2-3 weeks according to Mustangs Unlimited. I'm just going to wait it out since I really want a dual outlet header.

What color is your 65 right now Falchion?

I hate waiting for parts! I ordered so many different parts from so many different places that I forgot what was coming from where!

Some places won't even send you an E-mail or anything untill you call and say, "Hey! Where's my part?" lol

The ones that didn't tell me, and I had to call them, I don't do business any more!

I was just curious about it and then the guy looked up the part and just told me since there isn't a date on the site that means 2-3 weeks. So I think 1-2 weeks since I ordered on the 20th. I've had no problems out of Mustangs Unlimited so I don't mind waiting.

OK, I'm not sure if I ordered from them or not. Most of the places were in California.

CJ does free shipping on everything, but freight I believe. Started that at the beginning of the year. They also do 10% off like every Thursday-Sunday. Which is why I order my parts on the weekends.

Well maybe I will give CJ Pony parts a try. Here's a link to a Mustang on Ebay that is painted Laser Red. I think maybe you were considering that color?

Paint: 1996 Ford T-Bird Laser Red Tri Stage polished to a deep beautiful shine.

I considered that color last year. I finally decided a couple weeks before I went and bought mine what color.

Well my header will be available on 4/16. Which sucks for me since I needed it before then. I have a car show on the 17th and I'm not going to skip it. So I have to get my exhaust done so that I can swap over to the header when it arrives and not redo the entire setup.

Sorry to hear about that. Maybe you can get the car painted instead?

I'm still planning on getting that done next weekend. I'm still looking for a paint booth unfortunately. I found out yesterday that the one I wanted to use is broken and they don't know how long it will take to get fixed.

I've got to talk to my parents about the mustang though. I found a 99 GT I would like to own, and I would have to finish the mustang up next weekend and forget about the header. Then I would have to get a loan to pay for the GT and then over the next year or so pay it off. Also means I won't be going off to college for the first couple years. But for this mustang I would be willing to wait.

This is the GT:

I would keep it. Dad said I had to wait until graduation to buy one though. Maybe I'll get lucky and he will still have it in 2 months.

I think you could probably find one close to it pretty easily if it's sold.

That's what he said. "Mustangs are a dime a dozen"

Only thing is that GT has pretty much every mod I want. I'd take the bottle off though.
