Are you going to paint it yourself?

No, my dad's coworker is. He used to paint cars and said he would paint it for me.

I can't wait for November now. Have to get it done immediately in November. I have a car meet on the 14th of November. I'm anxious now.

Yes, I have some very minor bubleing on my right fender. I didn't even see it untill I washed it. It's not bad enough to justify repainting right now, but in the future I'd like to go back to the Ragoon Red. It's just that paint jobs are so expensive.........

there is a place called finishmaster they sell daimont paint(great quality paint What is going on the 67) , they are next to Huntsville driveshaft, also a place called moore's auto paint, they sell Dupont paint (what i used on the wifes mustang) they are on bob wallace next to the Lincoln / Mercury dealership

get a color and get a quote, just make sure they are the same quote, how much paint, how much clear, does it include the hardeners.
you want to compare apples to apples, not apples to paint :P

I use Sherwin Williams Automotive on 72 for my paint stuff. That is where my dad bought everything for his 64 GMC and where I bought my 2k.

Some new pics. Getting passenger door fixed hopefully the week of the 12th. Then it goes into primer and then paint!

It's amazing what wet sanding with 360 grit does. The rear section used to look terrible, now with water on it it looks almost perfect.

Yeah, I heard of a shop around here where they will take rubbing compound and buff the clear coat of your paint for you to get all the swirls out of a older paint job like mine. It's supposed to make it look real good.

I'm considering doing that.

Still have stuff to order though. Need interior paint, dash panels, and window felt. Order this stuff after I buy the paint.

Good! Are you still staying with the black and red colors?

I think that's a good idea. It's a little bit cheaper too!
