It can be done with a good tune. I may be a little optimistic, but not to far off I don't think. I've seen some GTs with full bolt ons at or above the 300 mark. And short of headers, he's pretty close.

Just to be clear, do you mean 300 motor or 300 wheel?

Found this on another board.
"Full bolt ons - 255 - 270 rwhp
Full bolt ons + cams - 275 - 300 rwhp
Full bolt ons + heads & cams - 290 - 320 rwhp
Full bolt ons + heads, cam & bottom end - 300 - 340 rwhp

The absolute most I have ever heard of out of a n/a stock displacement 2V was ~360 rwhp. Very high compression, very high rpms, very radical cams, short runner intake, pretty much a race only engine."

also.. heres the list

tb and plenum
http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...s-Polished-Int

and the tune is bama

Only fronts? No rear? Or did you recently purchase some rear tires.

Guys I have an idea and I need yalls input..

I want to make something like this..
http://www.killerglass.com/store/ind..._image&pID=218

but since the company dosent make one for my car I wan to make my own? What will i need? I only want to do like 8 inches of the straight part of the top radiator hose.

I know I will need High heat resistant tubing, and it be clear. what else?

As long as you were using the same materials they use I can't imagine any issues other than bends. That stuff looks pretty rigid, not a soft line. Maybe email them and ask what specifically they use?

Cool idea though

I think it would look cool and would be a cheap mod, just buy the size pipe a bit smaller then the readiator hose and clamp/ heat shrink it on.

As cool as it sounds i am kind of weirded by some people mentioning on forums that it COULD melt and screw you over completely.. there is always this.. http://www.killerglass.com/store/ind...roducts_id=194
but for that price you could just get this

Personally, I would go with the Clear tubing one, I don't really like chrome under the hood in newer gen cars. I like some chrome in hot rods and old school muscles but not as much in newer cars.

Are you planning on a tuner as well?
