Capt. may need shoulder surgery =( Or it could be a sprain from playing too hard. If it's not better in 10 days he'll need x-rays and see what has to be done http://www.acvs.org/AnimalOwners/Hea...oftheShoulder/

There is pet health insurance, VPI, Trupanion, ASPCA, just to name a few. VPI has a partnership with the company I work for, so I'm a bit biased towards them, but they have different plans with different coverage. IIRC once you reach the deductible (amount depends on your plan) they pay for everything else, which can come in handy especially since your boys like to eat stuff. :sales pitch over:

I hope it's just a sprain, and he gets better soon

My neighbors need some cause they are ludicrous. They have dumped thousands on 10+ yr old dogs. Here's a 6' grown man walking around with a yappy chihuahua in his arms everywhere he goes. Its eye has popped out of its socket several times, then a tumor on the other eye just had to be removed, now its on heart medicine. Nutjobs.

I talked to the Vet they say I should get Credit care and it's better than pet ins cause you can use it also. Imma look into it. If he ends up needing surgery it will be around $2,500. OY!

Woe... Who knows that dog could live to be 20 so I guess it's worth it. I know I love Capt. To death so ill do whatever it takes to keep him around for a long time.
