You stop it. You stop hittin me in the feels with that Red Fern business. I cried when I read that book (I was 12, though, so there's that), and I finally got over my feels issues with it a while back...

I think I was about 7, maybe 8 when I read it and I cried on and off for days. Read it many more times after that and cried every time. Hell, I'd cry if I read it right now.

Still love those dogs. I'll get one someday when I'm ready for another one. Hell, just look at those pictures above. How could you not love that?

I know. I've kinda always wanted me a pair myself.

I really can't though... they'd have no where to run, and the way my life is currently structured... yeah, not a good idea for the pups.

When I was little, my grandpa and uncles always hunted with black & tan coonhounds, but he always said the most beautiful sound you'd ever hear in the woods was a redbone howling "tree'd" when they got one.
