Hope no one else is from Illinois on here. If you are, Im not referring to you. Thank The Lord I am not from Illinois. People are so cranky it seems, got a pine cone stuck up their butt..lol, I go out of state and some friendly people, love the southern hospitality!! That being said, I get tons of crap for having a vert.

 

Just passed a stang who was hit from behind

 

Why? I drove my 83 vert in the winter with the top down in snow storms. We drive our 2013 vert all year as long as there isn't salt on the streets.

 

I have no idea, people are strange, I agree, I drove with top down in January few times. At least the 04 sixer.
Some people just don't like verts. 3/4s of all my friends are twice my age. They actually appreciate it. compliments all day long, And the young 20s generation don't care much for verts,
Most of all that would say it, had a Chevy or dodge of sum crap box.

I drove thru small farm town on Main Street, this harley biker guy was definitely not 100% sober. But his reaction was priceless. "Whoa a 5.Oooooo man"

 

yeah i get some grief for buying a vert, until they see and hear it.

 

Amen to that, Darren what exhaust did you get for yours?

I am still running the stock GT but searching for Borla quad tips. I'm ordering the Eibach pro suspension system next week, then the valance for the quad tips when i find Borla S types.

The hood is delayed but the damage is fixed. Carl's Custom Concepts painted the new chin spoiler and I like it a LOT better. The Roush lower grille looks better than the stock one too.

 

I really like that GT/CS style side stripe. The body shop did a nice job on that chin spoiler too.

Thanks! The side stripe is the stock MCA stripe, similar to the GT/CS with the fade. It says "Mustang Club of America" in the stripe

 

the MCA stripe looks great on the red! I wish mine did too
