Just kidding. I enjoy my rides too and always have.
I was 27 when I bought my first NEW car in FL for $9,616, just 4 years older than RedGT12.
It was a good choice, and unlike his experience, I received a lot of when I went to work. Times change.
Oh, here it is, an '82 GT. 4 speed 5.0L with a whopping 157 HP!
That's a clean gt there. Body looks really good.

Sadly, these days credit is king! Luckily, my credit is about as good as you can get (amazing how a sales persons demeanor, at any place, changes once they know I have good credit). You just need to show that you can make payments, whether you need to make those payments or not. Just playing the game...

So investing/saving is important. I didn't even want to buy a car at first because the values seem to disappear, but the bank wanted to see some loans before I try buy a property. So I went big and always like what you guys are driving. Can't go wrong there
Life is full of lessons and there's a semi truck load I'm still gonna learn from
I am constantly revising the way I think about cars, and my current way of thinking is to own a summer and winter car. The summer car will be a vintage Mustang, and I am confident that depreciation won't be an issue. My winter car, I refuse to pay more than $5000 cash for.

I met my wife before I had any money. And she has stuck with me through think and thin; some thin times most people cannot imagine.

I'm not biggest fan either, but the black paint added good contrast, and looks like he waxed it half dozen times!!

thanks all. grabber blue is a color you either love or hate. The contrast is something I learned with my White Cali. And yes I machine buffed the hell out of it.

Thanks. I ordered it this way. Even the dealer was impressed when it came in. They hadn't seen one like this. I have a 66 Chevy vert in the exact same color scheme, so this is kind of a tribute / ultimate retro yet mod.

Anyone look above your head on your convertible, with the stitching above that bar. Mine seems to be coming loose

I just put my seat back and looked up and noticed it

Mine is fine too. Perhaps it is environmental. Too dry causing the fabric to shrink or something.
