Bf plasti-dipped my wheels black. What do you think ?

 

Looks pretty good, and I'm not a big fan of 'PlastiDip'. I like that he left the center caps exposed.

 

We put a gloss over it so it doesn't look so matte.

Thanks! Exposed center cap was my idea.

 

That cover keeps the dirt out. I never used it on my last vert.

Funny though....you and I bought nearly identical GT's 2 weeks apart and now both seem to be taking different directions.

I was going to have dark gray metallic stripes installed this week but I'm having second thoughts now. I'll hold off for the time being.

But I did order a set of Eibach lowering springs, 1" wheel spacers and a set of Boss 302S wheels.

A little more research is in order, but in the future I'll be switching to some type of axle black exhaust.

Welcome to the forum Jim, the car is a beauty. I understand about owning a Vert. I owned one when the dear Wifey, and I started dating. Had to rid myself of it, and after we were married we couldn't hardly afford to eat let along own another Vert. Took us quite a few years, but got another in '06, and I plan to own one until I'm buried in the thing.

Thanks! I think I definitely want the matte black hashmarks for some subtle personality. I want to lower mine too, but I'm really enjoying how smooth the ride is right now. Let me know how your ride feels after you install the lowering springs.

As far as exhausts, I already decided I want these Corsas. Trying not to buy shoes or bags for the next few months so I can get the exhausts. Priorities. lol

It's a ragtop thing. Some people don't get it. Once you have one, you always want to be able to drop the top on a nice day. Obviously, you get it. Enjoy!
