Have you figured out how to install the boot?
I like the look of the installed boot....it cleans up the roof well area. But it takes a little finessing. I'm surprised that the salesman didn't show you. Mine did.
But it's hard to describe. I looked for videos but haven't found any. Once you figure it out for the first time though, it gets easier and easier.
I'm fortunate to have a garage, so I like to keep the top down and boot installed. A cover is on the car to keep dust out of the interior.
Sorry I'm not of any help.
Congrats...you did it.
Personally I think it's worth the effort, and in the future it'll go quicker and quicker for you.
I think it's easier hooking to the seat backs first, then tucking it in, and finally snapping those pesky plastic half-tube clip thing-a-ma-jigs.
How's that 1000 watt stereo? I have the base 500 watt and it seems like more than plenty.

I was happy with the 500 in my V6. Ill test out the subwoofer in the morning on the drive to work and let ya know if it's worth the trunk space it ate up. lol

I finally figured it out. It took about a half hour of trial and error. I like the look of it too, but it's wayyyyy too much effort to put the thing on...

My boot stays on pretty much all the time. It's garage kept and the Mustang won't intentionally see rain.
Most of my driving since I got it 2 weeks ago is just cruising around or running errands. I park it where I can see it and leave the top down. The black interior can get a tad toasty, so I keep a white bedsheet in the trunk, and when I park it, it gets draped over the front seats and steering wheel. It's amazing how cool the seats stay.
I've only had the top up once. I'll learn my lesson though in the first surprise rain storm when I have to scamble to get the boot off and top up.
