Speaking of top life, the top on that '67 is original. Everyone I talk to tells me a top won't make it 46 years, but it looks new, and goes up and down just fine. I've always just babied the crap out of it, and there you are...
I have babied it until this year. Now, I am rapidly racking up the miles, using it as a daily driver.

30,892 as of today. I bought it new in 1976 because a 16 year old wrecked it on a test drive in 1967 and even after being rebuilt at the dealership, they were unable to sell it for 9 years because no one wanted a new car with body work.

Water pump went out yesterday, but that's only an hour's work and $20 for a replacement. Fact is, with the aftermarket like it is, vintage Mustangs are practical and affordable, provided one knows what to pay attention to.
