Put my summer wheels back on (stored her with the stock Brembos w/ worn out pirellis), cleaned things up a bit in the wheel wells, put some LED turn signal bulbs in, and gave her a bath. As long as things are clear, I plan on taking her out for the first time in the morning! Can't freaking wait!

Nathan - you know I'm jelly with it comes to detailing. Nice job. I don't think I've ever cleaned my wheel well/shock/strut area since I installed my Koni yellows years ago

When I get my new garage and lift, that will be SO easy. That will motivate me.

Oh, a lift would have made things so much easier. You're gonna want to do the whole underside of the car. But the CG Barebones spray works really well.

This was the last day I saw my car. My dealer bought her back from me so I drove it straight into the showroom on December 31st. It was a heartbreaking moment, but i have exciting plans on the horizon

It must have been bittersweet seeing her sitting there all awesome.

I assume there's a new Ford toy coming really soon if you were at the dealership and your car was on the showroom floor. (I was going to guess new Raptor, but you already have a truck. lol)
Good luck going forward brother!

Since retirement I have been really good about staying out of my lovely brides hair. Things began to slow down so I bought this little '06 to renew my shade tree mechanical abilities, and learn new ones since I have the time. So I went to YouTube, saw how easy replacing the brake pads is, and changed pads for my first time. Except for twisting/pressing the rear pistons, everything was EZPZ.

You are a luck man Jim! I took early retirement in 2008 and I am hard pressed to get any time in the garage to work on my car. The honey-do-list literally take all the time.

BTW congratulations on the brake job.

Yeah my original one looks to be the same design as the SN95 mustangs, I think they must've revised it sometime between '06 and '13. Direct plug and play.

I get it Scott. This "me" time didn't come easy for me either. I should have added that I also retired early in July of '08. I'm just now at the end of the honey-do.

You are away ahead of me on the Honey-do-list man! I got a real deal on a 2 acre estate lot and house in 1997 because it was a fixer upper. I have been fixing it up ever since and still have numerous improvements to make according to the BOSS.

I see that your wife has a nice Mustang as well. The BOSS here does not have much time for cars as they just get you from point A to point B. When I ask her what type of car she has, she says a black one.

Drove it.
Just took it to get a haircut.
Contemplating taking it to school as well, this afternoon.
Tomorrow night into Saturday we're expecting 5-10" of snow, since winter doesn't seem to want to freaking leave all of a sudden, so I figure drive it now while the roads are dry.
The rear Goodyear F1 tires still aren't drag radials, so if I try to apply a good amount of power they spin.
Oh well, it's a different kind of fun

It's a lot cheaper that way Scott. My dearest caught my love for cars while we were dating. So, most of the time we're on the same page when it comes time for something new. But, I am kinda glad she doesn't like to drive the Corvette.

BTW, we bought our fixer-upper (built in 1925) in '94. So, I have a very good idea of what your honey-do looks like.
