It's a Shelby GT. The dealer, Bill Shepherd Mustang are the first official Shelby Mod Shop outside the US. So, just as Shelby American do in Vegas, they take a stock GT and add the various Shelby GT add-ons (supercharger/tune/brakes/wheels/carbon bodykit etc)

Yep, we'll get RHD ones eventually..........but not until Sept/Oct. These are "grey import" LHD models for those who just cannot wait......and are prepared to pay the premium! Bill Shepherd Mustang has been the selling LHD models since the S197 hit 10 years ago, along with the classics, mainly 65-70 models.

The Cobra is a genuine FIA 50th Anniversary car, built in aluminium. That's about £250k right there!

Well, so much for the myth of British patience and quiet resolve. Guess that goes out the window when it comes to hot rods!!!!

Thanks for clarifying.

Replaced both exterior door handles and interior handle bezels on my friends' 92 LX vert; thanks to the great instructional video from Late Model Restoration (as well their parts!), I had those doors working again inside of an afternoon! Plus, I got to buy a new riveter, so bonus!!
-As an aside, the owners of the car just told me that the guy who replaced their top 5 years ago informed them that they had to replace the WHOLE DOOR to fix the broken handles, so they've been laboring with the busted handles for 5 YEARS!! I'm so glad I could help them save some dough and their original doors!

UK meet

Took mine to an Open Day BBQ at Modurstang..........one of the few Mustang servicing/modification shops in the UK. Mike's a drag racer and has a 1000HP Camaro (yeah, I know).

Over 60 Mustangs turned up. Pretty good for the UK

Do you mean these?

If so, no, these are Saleen Mustangs and all the early S197 versions have those lights in the headlight pillars

I participated in one of my clubs 'cruise ins' at a local fast food restaurant that hosts car shows every week. I even won a pretty cool rechargeable spot light.

Took the green machine out for a little cruise after Mass this morning. Two of my favorite times to take the beast out is the early summer morning or late, late summer afternoons.

Looks like a great show Darren. And the chrome Mambas really work well with your Mustang. I didn't think they would when you first mentioned getting them a while back. They distract the eye a bit from you not having a convertible boot.

Does morning Mass have anything to do with it? 1 religious experience followed up with a few sins ?
