What did you do with your Mustang today?

I put my 2012 yellow blaze convertible in the shop Monday to fix damage done by a flying chain link fence on the right rear...
that was a sad day for sure, but soon it will be like it never happened.
I am starting to think my FRPP axle backs just aren't loud enough. So I may swap them for something louder after she gets home next week.

I want to do that so bad! I hate the fact they didn't paint the axels on these cars.

So... my story for the day.
Took Marilyn out yesterday to have dinner with some buddies. Aside from the usual stares and thumbs ups I got, I saw a C6 Vette (turned out to be a Grand Sport) vert in my rear view. I slowed down to let him catch up, and tried to get him to play a little bit. Surprisingly he didn't bite. Awwww shucks. Then back in town I had at least 2 Chevy trucks trying to egg me on. Sigh. What's with people. lol.

Got a chance to finally upload some pics I took last weekend.
I just found a couple of locations by a store, and one by a park. Last set of pics were taken at the ball park during my son's practice today.
Marilyn was detailed and washed with Chemical Guys products, then lavished with Pinnacle Souveran this time.
Sorry but I don't have any stunning backdrops like oceans, cliffs, or graffiti I have nothing but plains and flat areas here in the midwest.
Enjoy.

As for the paint, yes, all oem. It's about the care of it. Proper claying, buffing, glazing, sealing, and carnauba-ing

Got a ticket last nite on Rt 80 coming back from a cruise. Ironically the cruise was called Cops and Rodders. First ticket in almost 20 years. Snagged for improper lane change (no signal) and 84 in a 65....19mph over....could have been careless driving I think. Serious.
The state trooper was cool. I did all the right things before he came to my window...interior lights, flashers, credentials out, both hands on the steering wheel.
First thing he said was "nice car.....new?" He asked where I was headed and where I was coming from so I told him. He told me why he pulled me over and asked why I was going so fast. I said "I was being cocky", and he laughed his @ss off. Asked me if I had any points....I said no.
When he came back he was smiling and said "would you rather have a $200 ticket for speeding or a $46 ticket for no seatbelt?" I told him I'd sure appreciate the seat belt summons but he'd get no argument from me either way. He smiled and said "Good, because that's what I'm giving you. Have a nice night".
It pays to be straight up with a cop. Anytime I'd ever been stopped by a state trooper, I've never gotten a ticket for the actual offense...usually reduced or just a warning.
If I ever see him at the 7-11, the coffee is on me.

Troopers are almost always good people. It's the city cops that tend to be jerks about things...and sometimes deputies.
Every Michigan state trooper I've encountered has been quite professional. My luck with other law enforcement agencies is less then great...

Well this is not as serious as having a body shop work on the car but I ordered a bonnet strut kit for Buddy, so I can't wait to put that on also took Buddy for a drive to work for the first time and got complimented on the looks!! (Yes it made me feel good, and it was from another Mustang owner too)

1st ticket (Eagle Vision in 99? 00?): Cruise Control set below 60 in a 55. Car sped up going downhill and I didn't notice. Ticket for 64 in 55.
2nd Ticket (Mitsubishi Galant in 03?): Sped up to pass my friend right before turning onto my street. Cop told us we were "racing" and tickets me for 45 in 35.
3rd Ticket (05 Mustang in 2005): Riding with traffic, and a lot of it, crossed into construction zone, and I decelerated without braking. Apparently everyone else slammed on their brakes because I got ticketed for 67 in 55 Construction (Sunday) [except the Toyota in front of me that never slowed down.]
I've also got numerous warnings (or comments) about no front plate. The first one was the week my parents brought the Eagle Vision back from Arizona. More than half of the cars that drove past while I was stopped had no front plate.
