Getting ready to do a light detailing, mostly just a freshening up on the Mustang in preparation for this a little later:

Great car hangout...tonite is the Sat cruise season opener and the weather will make for a great turnout. Gonna be a top-down day!!!

The Chatterbox is a hoot. It's a 50's style diner in-the-round and pretty much car themed. At one time the car hops would serve you on roller skates while you sat in your car. Not sure if they do that anymore, at least not on cruise nites. Decent burgers, dogs and shakes too.
Parking around the diner is reserved for cars 25 years old and older, but there's an adjacent area for modern muscle. There's usually a very respectable Mustang turn-out.
This is from last year...a bunch of black Mustangs all showed up at once, so we parked them together and called it Murderer's Row.

Loaded up my BAMA tune today, yes I said BAMA. Lol. First time tuning and have been reading good things so decided to give them a try. Went with the 93 performance tune and it's amazing!! Had a blast all day cruising around chirping 2nd and 3rd a few times(auto). Runs perfect, have not data logged, but I plan to. Throttle response and shift firmness are the first improvements I noticed. I had the steeda "no tune" intake for a few weeks, now after removing the insert I can really hear it breathing. It's like a new car again and I love it.
Going to try the 93 race tune tomorrow.

We Listened to some very chill tunes today, took my baby girls out shopping for Mamma Bear, for some reason I find myself talking to my car more and more? today was no exception! Must be an Old Dad thing? If you ask me about tomorrow it would have been better! LOL

It might be worth a long road trip to Vancouver just so I can get into one of Darren's pictures. Of course he'd have buy me dinner for my efforts.
Nick, you should consider a trip out to Sussex County one late Saturday afternoon for a visit to the Chatterbox. Usually lots of Mustangs, always plenty of muscle cars and hot rods, and the scenery is beautiful. If you're interested let me know and we can coordinate something. That goes for any other of you North Jersey boys and girls. And you too Gary, next time you're visiting relatives in Pompton Lakes.
From last nite....the black and silver coupes next to me both had Boss intakes. I felt so inadequate!!!

Gave her a wash after all the driving I did this weekend. Finally got to try the new CG V7 soap. Gave it a good shine but wasn't as sudsy as the glossworks.

So, I had $600 burning a hole in my pocket from a recent acting job, and decided to "invest" in some goodies for the chariot! Rocky Mountain Graphix rear panel wrap, the Powered by Ford intake and throttle body cover, a new pony cut out billet grille (I miss having the big Pony out there leading the way!), a Roush gloss black dash trim kit from Ebay, fuse box cover with tribar and pony emblem, a billet dipstick handle, Quicklift elite hood struts, bilet caps for the engine bay caps, and a pair od red shoulder belt pads for the rear seats (to match the crimson interior better). Whooo that was a shopping frenzy!
Now to park the car by the mail box, polishing the hood and waiting....
