unwrapped my stang and removed at least 10"+ off of it with little effort...

when we wrapped the mustang (we didn't have much prep time)

hey it worked and at the time of wrapping it was raining ice at the time so I figured it would minimize any chance of ice damaging the paint of my new ride....were still working on clearing out the garage (we did house work so we have lots of stuff in it that were still returning to the carious rooms) so I figured if I can't have the garage protecting my ride (just returned from getting it fixed at the dealer for the various issues that I reported two days before when we bought it) this was the next best thing, and the nice thing was all the snow just came off with little effort and we tossed the plastic wrap in the recycle bin...


this weekend were hoping to start cleaning out the rest of the garage to make the room for the car, since the warmer weather should be nice the warm and dry by then (projecting close to 60* by then were going to pull stuff in the driveway and get the car in and put things back...(its just been too cold to do that lately)

its a new to me car and yes I am obsessive, I love my mustang and since it hide in the garage I figure why not, plus I have plans to redo the paint my self (have air guns and all that) and I really don't want to scratch up my work once I started hehe


the door handle does have a nick in it that I need to touch up and it wasn't for the paint protection really, it was more for the ability to pull the snow and plastic off in one go and just have all that snow (and ice) fall off with out having to sit there and scrape it or try and park it in the sun light and wait for it to melt. so as far as paint goes I'm not looking so much for protection (its a car its going to get small nicks in its paint during its life)

Normally when I have a car like this it resides in my garage but as I stated before the garage has lots of crap in it, a sofa, wood, and other things from a slight rework on the house but meh, were planing on clearing out the garage tomorrow and sunday to get the car in its rightful place...

Received the new '13-'14 GT500 rear rotors from LRS ... 14" rear rotors will finally match the 14's in the front, and won't look tiny once the 20's finally get installed back there.




As far as packaging, it looks like the LRS retarded packaging monkey is still employed there .... a HUGE box with tons of heavy brown paper on top and the rotors on the bottom ... wasteful and inadequate-against-dropping packaging, once again:

Had the Hawk HPS pads with Frozen Rotors on my 4400-lb '07 Charger and they were awesome and gave very little dust .... loved them.

I love blue cars. I still miss my vista SGT. Of course the '70 is blue and that keeps me from missing it too much, lol. I love your notch as well, one of the best looking ones I've seen.

Thanks. There was a DIB TP that I was considering when I bought mine. It was more though and something about the black just grabbed my attention.

Same way here when I bought the 500. I loved the kona with white stripes, but I wanted the PP and it only came with red stripes on blue and it was YUK (to me). Then I saw the black with red stripes, and I always hated red stripes on black until I saw it in person. Something about the silver outlines on the red just made it pop in person and I was hooked immediately. Went on a mission to find one that day. I honestly don't think I would have bought this combo if it weren't for the silver, if I had seen it just in black and red I'd have probably ended up with kona/white. Glad I got it now though, you actually don't see a lot of them in this combo. You never really have to worry about meeting a car like yours going down the road. I've actually never seen another one like mine in person.


Now I kick myself in the **** every time its been driven once after being washed because of dirt. I forgot how bad it sucks to keep a black car clean, hadn't had one in many years, lol. Good thing I don't drive it much, I'd either go crazy or have to sell it, lol.
