Sounds like you had a great trip, Steve. Congratulations. We love Italy and will be headed back there again soon.

I added a turbo to the car, finished it May 1 and took it for one more test drive .......and broke something in the upper part of the engine. Still trying to determine what happened and why so the car, while driveable isn't really ready for the road.

I decided to give the car a wash and wax yesterday. It was pretty dirty and dusty from sitting in the shop and then in the garage. Pat used the leaf blower in the driveway and the car was covered, and then someone dragged something across the hood through the dust.

So wash with some Mother's wash, and then I used the Mother's Synthetic Wax on it. It was detailed in February for Autorama but I didn't drive it much after that. So wash and wax was all it needed. I forgot how much it takes on black to get it swirl free and looking good (hood stripe and rear spoiler are both painted black). Even though I haven't driven it much I couldn't believe how many little chips the front spoiler picked up already!

I'm going to have to detail the engine bay. Washed it but it needs some more attention.

And the gauge pack. I need to clean up the interior - I think that I will drive it the 1 mile to Northgate Ford and back on Friday for Blue Water Cruise Night

I drove Mistress Lauren to the firehouse Sunday night for the night tour. Monday morning, we ran some errands, including filling her up with premium fuel. Went to a meeting at the firehouse Tuesday night; she'll stay in the paddock for a couple of days while wifey and I go to Maine. Saturday's agenda will be a trip to a Mustang show in Wareham, MA.

Nice! Went with black eh? I went with silver for some added pop and to match my boss brace and throttle body. That's the standard hose and clamps you have there? That doesn't look bad at all! I got the standard as well, hoping to upgrade to braided SS and anodized fittings on my own in the future.

Also, I pick up my new "spare" pcv connectors from the dealership today. 20 bucks for 2. That way I don't have to remove or ruin the stock pcv setup so I can go back to it.

Hopefully my bobs arrives tomorrow.

Patrick nice! Yep that's the one I have as well. I love it. In the limited time I've actually used the radio, (literally once or twice in her lifetime) reception is still great.

Ya, I went with the standard kit. I wanted it to blend in. I was actually able to remove the PCV connectors from the tube by pouring near boiling water over them. I don't like the idea of cutting it up either.

Any chance you could post some pics of your new wheels on the car? What size tires did you go with and is your car lowered?

took my beast downtown Vancouver in 26c weather. business meeting and got to park right in front of the restaurant. UNFORTUNATELY it turned out to be an extra expensive lunch because I… … … … …

rashed my wheel on the curb <wince/pain>
I have NEVER rashed a wheel before, EVER. It sounded like a cement truck rolling over a 1000 kittens

THEN

whilst looking for the wheel repair man who frequents the high end car dealers to fix wheels, i stopped in the mazda dealer to get directions to BMW. it was a ghost town, but 3 managers came out to look at my car. they literally drooled LOL, it was crazy. they especially loved the CF hood, and how the sun shows the CF pattern at the right angle. UNFORTUNATELY, the driveway exiting their lot was crazy steep. even though I preserved my CF front spoiler i bottomed out the rear valance and scraped a pipe Not too noticeable thankfully, but still.

wheel gets fixed tomorrow. My pride might take a while longer lol

Washed and detailed exterior and interior. Checked the cabin filter, pretty dirty for 3000 miles but not too bad.

Oh, wiped down the engine bay real quick as well.

Might have seen from my other post......

Here's my ghetto *** navigation system. Tablet = free from verizon, plus 3$ of duck tape. Nothing is taped down, it's held by hooks at the top. It's not meant for looks, just to get me from point A to point B and then it'll get taken down so nobody will see this mess.

i washed my engine bay and the rest of her and conditioned her hide too. then looked into a possible wee little bit of accessory called a 351

http://www.jpcracing.com/coyote-stro...-cubic-inches/
just toying with ideas right now. who knows where project black mamba convertible will go next lmao…

i tried to take a pic of the CF pattern that ghosts through the paint on the hood in the sunlight, but the phone camera just can't pick it up.
