What did you do with your Mustang today?

Congrats gabe!!! You got your kit! Also I noticed that you have a box of the pinnacle Clay. Did you get that in a court of my recommendation as well? . You'll be happy. However I should have told you that I now use clay pads instead of clay bars. I use the one from Chemical Guys specifically.
I got back on autogeek.net and saw the kit, called up to order it, the lady wanted me to pay shipping ... I didn't pay shipping, not after having spent almost $400 with them 2 days before, lol

Well.. I'd honestly hate to spend a lot of money on the car fixing it up, its my daily driver and its gettin quite a bit of miles. I do take good care of her, keepin her clean and well maintained. But it is 12 years old, I do plan on buying a new mustang in a year or two that will be where my extra money goes. Just gotta decide if I want a 2015+ or an older Gt (11-14), possibly a Shelby.

Thanks Burton and I got it based on you and another detailer friend highly recommending claying the cars before doing anything to them. Thanks matey.
I've always liked the Flowmasters and never felt any real drone whilst cruising. BUT, having driven a friend's '07 with Pypes, I felt they were just that bit more aggressive, which is what I want in a sunny day toy

Just got done fully detailing the girlfriend's Shelby.
She is in love with the car all over again, lol.
Amazing how off-white that white got when dirt was embedded in the paint.
This took almost 4 hours and my back is killing me, but I'm psyched with the results.
Like she said, need sunglasses now to look at it, lol

The back end of the 07-09 Shelbys is, to me, the best looking stock rear end on a Mustang since '69. When you see it half a mile away, you know what it is. It looks and feels like it's clearly a cut above every other car on the road with it. My '13 backside doesn't have that same 'grab' to it that this one does. My neighbor down the street has a white '07 Shelby with the GB stripes, and on the rare occasions that I see him while he's driving it, I always follow a bit and admire how perfect that car looks.
These days, with the back-end lowered, fitted with the 305 tires perfectly centered, riding on Konis, checking out the back of the car as it drives over bumps or in turns, it's cool to see how controlled it is, plus sitting low and wide it looks awesome
