I wish they would have come out with it before I bought my Jeep. I'll be back at the Jeep dealer again tomorrow. This time for a new radio. Last week was a wheel sensor....time before that was the metal plate on the back of the brake pads rusted out and were making a heck of a noise....ten times before that for the water leak.....5 times before that for my window that quit working and they couldn't figure out why. And I just turned over 34k in 4 1/2 years

Jeep Strongly Hints a V8 392 HEMI Wrangler is Coming to Take on The New 2021 Ford Bronco. Should this come to fruition? Will Ford offer a Coyote 5.0 option for the new Bronco? IMHO they should if they're serious about competing head to head with the Jeep Wrangler knowing that Ford is committed to becoming the 4x4 leader.

I’m anxious to see the new Bronco in person. Although what I would absolutely love is to have a 1st gen Bronco. I really only like my Jeep because it’s the closest to looking like the 1st gens. I’ll let them work the bugs out of these new ones before I entertain the idea of buying a new one.

A diehard Chevy friend of mine (yes I said friend) informed me that he's switching to the Ford camp after reading about the new Bronco.
I told him deep down he starting switching camps in '88 when we both test drove back to back an IROC Z28 and then a Mustang GT. He begrudgingly picked the Mustang and said it was the better car overall!

That pretty much says it all coming from a GM fanboy. That being said, glad your friend is making the switch from the dark side to the blue oval

My wife and I are also anxious to see the new Bronco in person as well. After seeing the official reveal Monday on YouTube, It most definitely looks a lot like the 1st gen Broncos, so IMO, Ford really nailed it with the design. However I'am a bit disappointed that Ford doesn't offer a V8 option, being that the 1st and 2nd generation Broncos were in fact equipped with V8's. I just hope that if Jeep does in fact come out with a 392 Hemi V8 for the Wrangler? that Ford will also offer a Coyote 5.0 option for the new Bronco which I'd really love to have, other than for an original 1st gen Bronco lol. I also agree about the Jeep Wrangler as being closest to looking like the 1st gen Broncos, therefore, I can certainly understand your reasons for liking your Jeep

Am I the only one who wishes the new ones came with a drop down tailgate instead of a swing gate like the Jeep? Looks like the sport model has a lift gate like a mini van. I don't care for the body style of the sport model.

If the size of a DOHC Coyote V8 can fit and also if there is enough demand from potential buyers? then perhaps, hopefully someday
Your definitely not the only one. As I also prefer they came with a drop down tailgate over the swing gate like the Jeep. I'm also not a fan of the Bronco Sport model's body style either. So once again, you are not alone.

So if the V8 won't fit maybe they will put the Raptor V6 in it. That baby would be fast then...

Toasty in the mid Atlantic today but cooler than yesterday. I know you guys think I’m crazy but I’d still take this over the freezing cold any day!

Tropical storm cleared. It left a crap ton of rain and flooded many places. Luckily I live on high ground. My morning started with a foul burnt wood stench comming from outside. Many years that a jackas likes to burn stuff up and the authorities haven't done anything about it. We have to keep most windows shut.
