dang, I forgot how bad it is driving and reading with dilated pupils! I could barely read Gary's post! I did get a new pair of glasses though, they should be in next week

While I was there, some woman got a totalled bill of $635 dollars!

oh yeah, I think that Mustang drivers/fan's have a close second with jeep wrangler drivers, I forgot how much people wave at you

None. The wife has been handling the kids smaller items. I think we're going to take off from work tomorrow and get some of it done together. As for my gift to her, I've got nothing. I have no idea. I ask her and she says "Oh I don't need anything." I've made that mistake before.

I was very young. Probably married for 4 years at the time. We were flat broke and we agreed no presents for us, we'd just buy them for our one baby daughter. Well my wife got her mom to help her get me a pair of jeans I think and I got her nothing. I felt about 2' tall.

our first married Chritsmas....we were dead broke, and I really needed a suit for preaching....my birthday is on the 12th...so she went and bought 2 suits for me for my birthday day (which was sweet...I cried...) and she said, "I know these were expensive, so we wont worry about each other for christmas, becuae I know you needed these so badly"..awww.....I love her so much!

Christmas rolls around, I've got bupkiss for her...like we discussed...she was pissed!!!!! WHAT!?? she still hasnt shut up about it! I heard about it last night even! I think it was unfair....but at least I learned.

Dwight and I decided no birthday presents, I mean at some point ya just got enough stuff, right? His b-day was september and mine was early december (3rd), so I had to go first. I behaved as agreed and did not get him anything, making him swear he would not turn around and get me something and hence I would have to shoot myself. Well he came to visit over thanksgiving (currently we live 650 mi apart) and hm, he had for me the following: a 19" dell monitor, a digital camera, a wireless keyboard, and a bose sound system. But no, no, nothing for my BIRTHDAY, just had these things and wanted to give them to me, insisting he complied with our agreement, they were NOT for my birthday, he won't even BE HERE on my birthday so how could they possibly be birthday presents? Uh huh. Excuse me but now I must go shoot myself, I feel like a heartless rock.

You do realize it's reverse psychology, right Lynda? You say you don't need/want anything and we think you want us to do something thoughtful. Or we take it at face value. We can't win!

I will only give pressents to my nephew and my gf. And a great dinner here at home. And I plan to give myself some things, like fixing the A/C on the stang I already bought the compressor. Next thing would be the accumulator, flush, vaccum & recharge.
