Well thats good to hear about Nate. I would not let the other kid off though, if for nothing else than for him to learn the consequences of his horrible actions. What if everyone just keeps letting him off until finally one day he does something like killing someone. He needs to learn a lesson and the law should be all for it, not against it. Why is the perp getting such special treatment?

As far as the family and the siblings. I dread that day. Of course because of the loss of my parents, but also because I'm the executor. I'm going to be the one making the hard decisions and the one everyone is going to blame when they think they haven't gotten their fair share. One sibling has no money and will go crazy with his inheritance while the other will be counting every nickel and dime of the estate. I'll just be wondering what would my parents really want me to do, and how lost I'll be someday without my dad around. He is my council in all things.

yup, I would definately be lost without my dad, (aside from some of you guys) he's honestly the only person that kept me sane through my rediculous first semester. That's why I want to build him a 57 T-Bird for his 57th birthday.

in other news, a friend and I are on this video

if you watch some of the first night runs, I'm in the bottom row, with a black shirt and white hat, just thought it was pretty cool. so you guys should bring your Stangs to Mustang week this year...it's not that far

The thing I remember most about South Carolina as we drove through from Georgia to Virginia is the FIREWORKS stands and supermarkets evrywhere!!!

yay Fireworks! you didnt get to see the landmark though...South of the Border!

seriously though, Myrtle Beach, and the area surrounding it is a really good vacation spot, especially if you like golf, theres like 180 course in Myrtle Beach alone

Someday we'll make it to Myrtle Beach. It is definitely on my list of vacation spots. Number one is Hawaii, but that'll be a long while before we get there too.

82 posts ago I guess.

I don't know I've had a C/T for about the last 4,000 posts so I have no idea of the member ranks.

Good night folks. Tip your waiters.

If you are 30 or older you will think this is hilarious!!!!

When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears
With their tedious diatribes about how hard things were. When they
were
growing up; what with walking twenty-five miles to school every
morning

... Uphill...

BOTH ways

Yadda, yadda, yadda

And I remember promising myself that when I grew up,
There was no way in hell I was going to lay
a bunch of crap like that on kids about how hard I had it

And how easy they've got it!

But now that... I'm over the ripe old age of
thirty, I can't help but look around and notice the youth of today.

You've got it so easy! I mean, compared to my
childhood, you live in a **** Utopia!

And I hate to say it but you kids today
don't know how good you've got it!

I mean, when I was a kid we didn't have the "Internet". If we wanted
to
know something, we had to go to the **** library and
look it up ourselves, in the card catalogue!!

There was no email!! We had to actually write
somebody a letter, with a pen!

...Then you had to walk all the way across the street and put it in
the
mailbox and it would take like a week to get there!

There were no MP3's or Napsters! You wanted to
steal music, you had to hitchhike to the **** record store and shoplift
it
yourself!

Or you had to wait around all day to tape it off the radio and the
DJ'd
usually talk over the beginning and @#*% it all up!

We didn't have fancy crap like Call Waiting! If you
Were on the phone and somebody else called they got a busy signal,
that's
it!

And we didn't have fancy Caller ID either!
When the phone rang, you had no idea who it was! It could be your
school,
your mom, your boss, your bookie, your drug dealer, a collections
agent,
you
just didn't know!!! You had to pick it up and take your chances
mister!

We didn't have any fancy Sony Playstation video
Games with high-resolution 3-D graphics! We had the Atari 2600! With
games
like 'Space Invaders' and 'asteroids'. Your guy was a little square!
You
Actually had to use your imagination!! And there were no multiple
levels
or
screens, it was just one screen
Forever!

And you could never win. The game just kept getting
harder and harder and
faster and faster until you died! Just like LIFE!

Sure, we had cable television, but back then that
as only m-net and there was no on- screen menu and no remote
control!

You had to use a little book called a TV Guide to find out what was
on! You were screwed when it came to channel surfing! You had to get
off
your *** and walk over to the TV to change the channel and there was
no
Cartoon Network either! You could only get cartoons
on Saturday morning. Do you hear what I'm saying!?! We had to wait
ALL
WEEK !!!
for cartoons, you spoiled
little brats!!!

And we didn't have microwaves. If we wanted to heat
something up we had to use the stove ... imagine that!

If we wanted popcorn, we had to use that stupid Jiffy Pop thing
And shake it over the stove forever like an idiot.

That's exactly what I'm talking about! You kids
today have got it too easy.
You're spoiled. You guys wouldn't have lasted
five minutes back in 1980!

Regards,
The over 30 Crowd

Thats funny Ed.

Since i just turned 26 I actually experienced both ways of life. I remember doing research as a kid and had to use the library card catalog and stuff, we never had cable so cartoons were only on saturday. No one in my high school had cell phones very few of them had internet or e-mail, i was one of the first to actually have the internet. But then college days were pretty much how you described todays wimpy kids.
