A Man Just Needs Some....
I had to explain to my wife why I called a guy "a walking cliche". Then I started thinking about how many people I know that fall into that category. Just amazing. But then again I've gone against the flow my entire life so maybe I just can't understand. The definition for cliche on Wikipedia was pretty entertaining though. Lol

Parking on a concrete pad: Car is in the sun, car gets hot.
Parking under a pine tree: Car in shade, but covered in acidic tree sap that will eat into the paint that will accelerate when placed in the sun. Also covered in pine needles that manage to get into the nooks and crannies like the windshield cowl, trunk jambs, etc.
Park on the pad. You can get your windows tinted and buy a sunshade for the windshield, or a car cover.

Had some craziness happen at the house yesterday. My ****ter system had been acting up (around the tank, sewage coming out on top of the ground around it). Thought I might need new field lines put in. Had a guy come out, ran a 100' snake through the lines and found no blockages. But found the cause of the problem and fixed it.
While they were digging I went down toward the road and low and behold I see and hear something exotic coming through headed up the mountain. Only caught a glimpse since I noticed it at the last minute as it came by where I could see. Knew it was something special just from the sound and the brief look I caught, but wasn't sure I saw what I thought I saw.
A bit later after the guys had finished working on the ****ter pipes and were loading up back down near the road I heard it coming again back down the mountain and I was prepared.
I was right as to what I thought I saw the first time but couldn't believe it.
It was a McLaren P1. Like I've said in the past, don't underestimate hillbillies down here and the cars they have hoarded up. Don't know who it was, but they matted a $1.3 million car as they passed someone turning off next to my house and it sounded crazy.
WTF?!?!?!?

There's an F1 in town. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it late one night, hanging out with some friends at the marina. At first I thought it was a Saleen S7...from the headlights. Then it got closer and I saw the fat 17"center lock wheels and realized what it was...I was in awe.

Not an F1, a P1. In rural Georgia no less. Video Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McLaren_P1

Took a trip to look at the Exploder earlier this week. Got there and they had no clue what I was talking about, a salesman went running around from place to place checking with different people while I stood there in agonizing back pain for 10 minutes, only to come back and tell me that they sold it wholesale the week before but didn't take it off their website. Would have been nice to know that before I drove 50 miles to see it, and stood there in pain waiting.
However, I searched the VIN and it went to another dealer (a domestic dealer) just a few miles away. I emailed them and let them know that I knew it was at a German dealer and what was wrong with it. Waiting to hear back from them.
Really just curious what they say, probably wouldn't buy it anyway.
