Hey Charlie,
Check out these Peregrine Falcons nesting with young on the 50th floor of the SunTrust building in Atlanta.

"Peregrine falcons are the world's fastest animals, diving on prey at speeds reaching 200 mph. These raptors normally have their nest, or eyrie, on remote cliffs."

Dem bears in the airs!
CHP Aircraft Catches East Bay Motorcyclist Going 120 MPH On The Highway
At 2,000 feet and a mile away, that airplane is a speck in the sky. But with their high-tech cameras, they can see fine detail, down to the color of your shoes.

Probably my favorite mass produced skins I've tried. I've never seen them at home, down here was the first time I came across them. And it was a fluke, I ran into the grocery store at closing time to get some beer for the next day and spotted a small bag of them on a rack as I was leaving.
These used to be my favorites..

But not anymore.

Yes, although right now they are in Fort Irwin, CA @ the National Training Center for two months. They shipped their Strykers across the Pacific for the training too. I don't know if that means they are getting ready to go somewhere or if it is just because they are getting ready for their rotation for the Crisis Readiness Force

Been to Maui and Kauai. Two totally different islands. If I had to pick, I would go back to Maui. Spending a day just to do the volcano is well worth it. The pics going into the clouds, actually in the clouds, and then looking down on the clouds is awesome. Not to say Kauai is bad, it was beautiful but for my money Maui is where it's at. Rented a harley for a day and drove around the island until the road stopped; then turned around and drove back. Good times. Got pix if you're interested.

I had to use the office typewriter to fill out a couple forms. Holy crap that thing sucks! No wonder it took forever to get stuff done back in the day.

If you want to really surprise her, take her to Tahiti. Not kidding.

Was stationed in Hawaii for three weeks; the north shore is one of the best places to visit on the planet if you're taking a sports or active vacation, but I found the rest of it too touristy--meaning too clichéd and over-priced. The Bahamas were slower paced and less crowded, and also a bit cheaper. If you want to really surprise her, take her to Tahiti. Not kidding.
