I love DST, but I hate the first day of it. I lose an hour of drinking time.

We flew to CO today (Saturday) and gained an hour. By the time we got to the house it was after midnight and DST and we lost that hour. I guess it all evens out

Anybody else know the distinctive smell of your child? I know it may sound weird, and maybe I'm the only one that thinks about stuff like this, but its a smell that is unique to each of them. I don't mean anything weird, I just mean the scent you get when you hug them, the smell of their hair, the smell of their neck, etc. when you kiss them.

Am I the only one that has noticed that is doesn't seem to change much (except for when they were a baby) and its always is there? Even when they grow up and you hug and kiss them (which they hate, lol) they still have the same scent about them?

Is that weird that I think about stuff like that?

No it's not weird lol. Well maybe that's not saying much coming from me, because neither you not I, no anyone else who regularly contributes to this thread, is not what I would consider to be "normal." LOL...and I am 100% okay with that.

But yeah, I guess it's hard to say since my boy is only 2 weeks old, but even for other people that actually is very normal (surprising coming from you :P). Dogs are the same way. I know my dogs' smell blindfolded. Even my old dogs at my parents' house...I went over there last night and it brought me back to the past 13 years that they've been around. Weird, as I type this I started to think about my first dog and I imagined his smell too!

My grandma passed away last year and we inherited her dresser. It smells like her lotion that she wore every day, and when she was alive we all hated it because it was just so strong. Now whenever we want to remember her, we can just open a drawer hah!

My great aunt gave my mom one of her old mink coats and it always smelled like my aunt's house

If they want 3,000,000, they could at least wash the dirt off.

Hi everyone

Been a rollercoaster of a few days...between losing my cousin to moving out on my own and doing what's best for me ...

Hoping everyone here is doing well...

That's a lot to handle at the same time. Good luck and don't let it all stress you out.

Again, sorry about your cousin

And good luck to you being on your own No offense, but you haven't seemed too happy with your relationship lately, so I thought it would only be a matter of time. Hopefully things will start looking up for you.

Thank you Jill and Al, its been a very stressful few days but I have had some people holding me up and keeping me strong.

My cousins passing was not easy. 18 years old and died from a ruptured vein to his heart. All it seems he did was overexert himself at the gym so please everyone be careful. I know so many people care about their looks but please play it safe...I can't bear to lose anyone else.

The next few months will be a huge financial strain on me but I will persevere

And seriously thank you everyone, you all are truly wonderful people and definitely a family worth having.

Son set mom's clothes on fire in NW Houston after she refused to pay for his pot

Man that is some crazy **** about that plane disappearing, no distress call, nothing. Just vanished off the radar.
