I understand. But remember, if you didn't order it new, it's adopted. And it grew up. Now it's time to adopt another one. A better one. And all the new memories will add on to all the good ol memories you built with your SN95 #1.

I get way too attached to things.

I wish I knew someone to buy it from me. At least I could see it again.

You don't want to watch that. Cut the apron ties and let it be happy with someone else.

I teared up when I had to let my Jensen-Healey/Lotus go. 15 years of love sweat tears and so many *****in life memories. I learned so much about driving well and engines/transmissions with it. (I still hate that I sold the OM with all my notes in it!)
But it was more important to save the ranch at the time. And I knew it would be a long time before I'd have another 2 lane twisty road monster.

But... years later... Bullitt #901 has enhanced/surpassed those memories and driving experiences in every possible way!!!

In your case, it is an immediate step up!

I'd rather I never see it again

That way I don't have to watch the next owner run it into the ground

Better to let it go into the memory banks than see it often and have the past rub your nose in the angst over and over again.

Just think how much fun someone else is going to have because you shared this machine with them for their memories.

Out there some where there's a kid looking to own his/her first Mustang GT. Maybe the family will help out, that kid will be extremely happy and be tickled to death just for the opportunity and experience. Would you deny that opportunity? Would Ja?

Is that not how the rest of the country does it? I know down in the Bronx by Arthur Ave. they carry around violin cases filled with money.

I know that crazy bro, I'm having the same issues with selling mine and buying a pickup.

Well, only if they took care of it. If not, then no. I'd probably have to steal it back.

True. I'll still spend the rest of my life wondering what happened to it though.

On a similar note, I missed it again! My J-H/L was pretty rare and nobody knew what it was. The vin was #14321. Always thought that was cool.
So I wanted to get a pic of my odometer at that mileage for some dumb nostalgia reason as a screen saver. I missed it on 901, and just missed it on my Cruiser last month on the freeway to Stanford. Dang it!
