Neither farmers, or Native Americans who used to own this land, lived up here or tried to farm here. You cain't grow a lick of grass in a pine forest at 4000'. Especially at the edge of the high desert. So it isn't too wise to run a breeding operation in a pine forest. Then again I never was one to take the popular road. Plus some of the best grass and alfalfa in the country is less than an hour away.

And since I am no longer in business, hence no tax deduct, they're just pets. Thanks to the drought, it is now over $500/mo. For pet food. I could be in the GT500 club for that.

But you know, we are now family, we are herd bound. And you can't sell family. They are my healing, daily joy, responsibility, and entertainment. Plus I made a commitment to Chief Joseph's memory with my book that I would provide a preservation for his 'children'. So they're just stuck with me.

Thankfully, the Lord keeps refilling the oil and flour so as to continue into my 27th year with them. Thank you!!
600 bales? Yikes! I barely afford the fish in my tank! hehehe

And for me, $500 a month is only GT territory.

Side note, Charlie I'm thinking about buying some land and moving to Oregon. Have any spare acres? I'm tired of being around people, trying to get the gf to be on board...

Yeah I heard it today during the finals. I think Tasca's comment is correct - Ford has underestimated how fans support Ford due to racing. And we aren't happy with how Ford has been struggling for wins as it is.

btw, why didn't espn show qualifying Saturday? My dvr didn't show it even scheduled.

There's always land available. The problem is jobs. Much less good paying 'family wage' jobs. The Feds keep blocking our core industries like lumber and farming which used to send substantial cash flow throughout the entire economy. They seem to want to turn it into a Park where tourists go "how pretty" while residents eek out a meager existence.

Ugh. Can't we just build a "community" or village where *living* is our job??

The graveyards out there are really impressive. Dunno about spooky but pretty amazing.

It's not that bad in the French quarter or uptown. Always go to Nola with a guide. Don't just wing it (not a good idea).

Not sure I'd recommend Al as a guide.... Just seems like an oxymoron to trying to stay out if trouble

All depends what kinda trouble you're looking for.

Haha without revealing too much about where I work (since my comments would represent the company on this public site), some that I've seen utilized in the industry are just CRAP. Lose signal all the time, false readings, etc. And then the customers turn into this dreadful "whoa is me, the sky is falling and I bought a lemon!!" obnoxious attitude. All that mandate has done is made people so stupid and dependent on them, that they don't even know how to check their own tires.
