I didn't get to watch the game yesterday, but I watched the flag raising on the giants website. brings tears to my eyes... been a giants fan all my life and back in the 80's my dad had a client pay him in giants tickets (dad is a cpa, his office back then was 2 blocks from the transamerica pyramid). The tickets were at the stick and were on the third base side, 2nd row, right next to the opposing pitchers bullpen (about 30-40 feet from third base).
To see the giants do this twice in three years is awesome, brings me back to the Montana days with the 9ers.
I hoping the W's are able to do something beyond the first round this year, bay area sports is making a comeback!!!

I'm taking vacation in August and September and taking my boys up to see a the Giants and Niners play.

My son is old enough now I think he'll sit through a giants game.
My plan is to meet up with my bro-in-law (.... *cough cough* dodger fan ....) and watch the giants beat the dodgers... he's gotta pick the day soon and we'll get tickets, take our sons and have a blast! I so hate loosing the first game to them in LA...

Saw something cool on the news yesterday. Some Braves player was up for his first at bat in the Major League, and they were interviewing his parents in the stands when he came up to bat and he put one over the wall.
