I know it wasn't a Ford but I loved that truck

I miss the short bed regular cab 4x4 trucks from the 70s and 80s with roll bars and KC lights.

Yup

We also had a Dodge Charger at the same time that was just a rebadged Mitsubishi.

Edit I think it was a Challenger

My dad went from a '77 ford f-250 supercab long bed 4x4 with what was probably a 400 in it to the Courier. And my mom went from a '76 Buick Lesabre that was silver with a maroon vinyl half top and a 454 motor to that little Challenger.

He was gonna save money on gas and ruined all the cool factor he ever had when it came to cars with me.

I remember the Texas license plate on the Buick was DRJ 747. Just a random plate but I'll never ever forget that.

Lol

My dad went from that Courier to the El Camino. I could ride in the space behind the seats. It was like a little tunnel in there.

That would be child abuse now.

I drove a company commuter van, Econoline with a 460 4V. It would really move. Got 10mpg no matter how you drove it
