I looked it up and some people say it was to save money and others say it was to save the 40 pound difference in weight.
It's bull**** if you ask me.
Besides I'm seriously considering getting a 2007-2009 GT500 wheel and having it narrowed so it can be put in the Shelby.
It's retarded to have to get a flatbed tow because you have a flat. The tire inflator won't fix **** and it damaged the $50 TPMS sensor too.

I need to measure the wheel well.
Also the 07-09 wheel because they are practically free or very very cheap to find.
