I'm still screwed up too. Not hurting quite as bad as last week, but still in constant pain and not sleeping much because of it. Its starting to get to me mentally, really draining because every step I take, every move I make, I'm doing it consciously and wondering if its going to take my breath or make me yell out "OHH!!!" followed by an expletive, lol.
I know the one's in my neck and shoulder were awful until the new doc gave me a mild muscle relaxer called Zanaflex.

I think you missed my other post a few days back. Since you can't do pain meds, would muscle relaxers help? A physical therapist told me how muscles cramping up can pull your spine out and mess with joints too. So that pain meds don't really help because they don't relax the muscle spasm.

They don't help, I know what this is, been dealing with it on and off for years. Its not like muscle pain and cramping, its like a supersized toothache type pain, or when the dentist hits a nerve and you get that instant jolt of crippling pain, like an electrical shock. Its from herniated discs pressing on nerves in my spine and spinal cord. I think I aggravated one of them moving some stuff around last week. This time the worst pain is in my lower right back and it must be pressing on some of my leg nerves because the pain is radiating from my groin down the front of my leg to just above my knee and my foot is somewhat numb and tingling.

Yeah, getting to be messy since it warmed up a little. Glad ill be out of this for a little while. We had delayed reporting to work and now I'm at the dentist with my oldest so it made for a short day!

I know that pain all too well myself...I've got an L5 herniated disc from a car accident years ago when I worked for Mercedes and got rear ended by another employee in another Mercedes
