I noticed it, just didn't think it was worth taking the time to type anything. Its just a II after all.
No, that definitely applies to the yankees as well. They love to come down here and tell us how they do it up north, and make sure to lecture in a tone that says "you're obviously too stupid to know how things are supposed to be done".

just got in from snowblowing. easy 10-12 and a huge windrow from the plows. My ariens ate right through it but it was still work. I'll go back out later. I learned it is much easier to keep up with a very large storm than to try and clean up 24 to 30 all at once.

Love my Ariens but don't like that the friction belts only last 2 to 2 1/2 seasons. Odd sizes and not cheap - although Graingers & ebay have helped if you hunt for the correct size. As good as they are, should have been chain drive. I'd love to convert - at least the drive wheels. Although chain drive for the hopper should be safe because of the shear bolts (I just buy a box of soft grade bolts vs expensive 'shear bolts').

mine has worked through some hard storms. the '10-'11 storm season was a worker. I didn't know about the belts, I check mine before teh season and they looked good but great info.

Well, the medicine isn't working as well as I hoped it would. My head feels much better, but my back doesn't. Don't know if that cruise in the 500 is going to happen tomorrow or not. At this point I don't think I can get into and out of it. Maybe things will improve with more medicine as the night wears on.
