I think I'm going to put some lump charcoal, hickory and red oak in my wood box in the GOSM cabinet smoker and do those pork chops this week.
Here's the last butt I did. (other than the ol' lady's,
) 5lbs, about 10 hours.
Sound good. I've traveled all over the US and I make it a point to try bbq everywhere I go.

Went out back to the patio around the pool to have a smoke a few minutes ago and noticed that the ashtray needed to be emptied. Tried to pick it up and it was frozen to the bar.

Funny, but I've been to Wisconsin, Iowa, North and South Dakota, but never to Minnesota that I recall right off hand, although I may have passed through part of it while traveling to one of those other states, can't remember for sure.

Over multiple trips I've been to each of those. To Wisconsin and Iowa to visit family (right along the border of each) and to N. and S. Dakota on other trips. S. Dakota

SD is awesome. We've been there five times on vacation. Not since 2007 though. Really want to go back. Surprisingly, I've never been to Iowa though I've been within 10 miles of the border.
