I don't even know if I've ever had a twinkie in my entire life. Doesn't look like I ever will either.

A great treat growing up. Loved it when they offered a box instead of just the 2 pack. After school snacks with all those classic tv shows.

I was big enough as a kid without needing to add twinkies into the equation.

except you pay for insurance too. I've had to deal with the Teamsters before and as far as I'm concerned they can crash and burn. I have a friend who I watched get screwed by the steamfitters....yes there is good and bad but it's a well published fact about the amount of corruption involved in Unions. They kicked the teamsters out of the Javitz Center in NYC...due to the sabotage and threats of violence the state troopers had to be called in for security during trade shows....and the reason they were kicked out was because of corruption.

You can "figure" for them all you want, but IMO these are hard working blue collar workers and I don't believe for a second that they want to sit home and begin losing everything they have worked for. My brother told me last month many of the drivers he worked with over there were willing to give up full-time jobs for a temporary route with another company, in hopes of getting a job with a better managed company.

You try taking a reduction in pay, paying more for medical, losing vacation time, etc., etc. with each negotiation and then explain to me how they are being greedy.

Honestly, the people working for this company will be better off elsewhere. Some of them are just clinging on and can't see what a blessing it will be for them to finally leave. The product the consumers love will be bought up by another company and will be produced once again.

At times like this we should be thankful that we are not in a similar situation.
The choice was an 8% cut in pay or no job....Me, I'd rather have a job. But I'm going to leave this here as it's not the place.

Well it's not too late to run out to the store and try one....Come on, live on the edge!

I actually don't think they are as good as I thought they were when I was a kid.

Who eats 'stick to the roof of your mouth' white bread anymore? I was at a friends for lunch last month and I almost fainted at a plate full of white bread on the table!

When I used to eat bread, I thought it was nasty. It's been so overly processed, it's really not even bread anymore.
