Arin you tell them Gary said your car was awesome. And to shut up! Stupid losers. I'd like to get a 99-04 someday. But it would probably have to be a Cobra at least. Maybe one with IRS?

A few months back I was driving side by side with a college kid in a Bullitt. He rolled his window down and trid to say nice car to me, but over my exhaust I couldn't hear anything at 45mph. He was shocked when at the next light I told him how much I liked his car. You should have seen his face. But I did. He had some serious rubber on the back, and it sounded as good as mine.

I remember reading about a '79 Pace Car with full cobra drivetrain, IRS included, as well as cobra seats and wheels swapped in
everything just lined right up and bolted in place

unfortunately there are alot of 05+ guys that dont seem to care for the older stangs.
I love the S197, but I don't think owning one makes you so much better than anyone with a fox/SN
This forum, especially the PW's don't really have this problem though. this is definitely one of the most openminded forums around
edit: and to be fair, there are plenty of 5.0 guys around my parts that think anything with a 4.6L is useless
sigh, im all for preferring one car over another, and having an opinion, but does everyne really have to be such a snob

If I could I'd sell my house and get a Stang from every generation. But alas I still couldn't afford the '69 or '70 that I would want. I'm lucky to have what I have. I just hope to at least get one more someday. And I could do alot worse than a '01 Bullitt. I really like that picture that Arin shows of the Bullitt he wants his to look like.
