There are alot of best Def Leppard songs ever. If that makes sense.
You said you've been told you look like Robert Plant, well when I was a little younger with longer hair I was told I looked like John Paul Jones. So all we need now is Jimmy Page and John Bonham and we've got a tribute band.

I can't sing either, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. 
OMG what was that.
Anyway I played bass guitar in a band. It was an alt rock band in the mid nineties. It was way cool. We wrote a lot of music, had a local following, and made some really good music in my opinion. Unfortunately the lead singer was a primadonna, go figure, and we couldn't stay together as a band.

Moving past my jealousy, that's really cool! I wanna do that, but I have a slight issue in the fact that I don't own a bass, and my guitar is 35-40 years old and really crappy. Like get a string in tune, play the next note up and it's horribly out of tune.

No we never made it out of podunk Texas. Though I was blessed to play with a VERY talented drummer. He learned to play drums as a kid by listening to Rush songs and copying what Neil Peart did. Anyway he was phenomenal. And the singer/guitarist was my best friend and had an excellent ear for music. I enjoyed being the lyricist and co-writing some of the music. I sold my entire rig when my first daughter was born in '96. I miss that stuff, but I needed the money big time. I sold a very cool looking Washburn bass, it wasn't the best bass, but it was definitely the best looking bass I've ever seen. And my two piece cabinet. Seperate amp with a dual 15" cabinet. This topic sucks.
