Heights don't bother me as much as the idea of hitting the ground....but roller coasters are great! You don't know what you are missing!

well think about it this way Paul. If you hit the ground from high up, it won't hurt for very long!


that being said, I don't mind heights, but I dont like heights where I dont feel secure. If I can grab onto something and hold on, that's fine, but if I'm out in the open, f that noise!

I dont like heights where i have no control. Roller coasters and stuff like that, i dont prefer but ill ride em for the experience. I love flying, but i have enough seat time (3 friends that are all pilots both private and commercial) i feel that i have a reasonable enough chance in the event of something short of the wings falling off, i have a decent enough experience to at least land a bit softer than just straight down.

I'd love to go on that coaster too! I love coasters and rides....the crazier the better I still want to go to Cedar Point one day. We've been talking about it for years, but haven't made it there yet

I dont mind flying at all, as evidenced by my "is that all you got?" query to the pilot in my stunt flight. That being said, it's interesting to watch people who dont like flying during takeoff and landing. On my way to Vegas, my friend Cari was saying anything, but you could see her pupils dilate every time the plane would bounce up and down a bit. And when you sit over top of the wings, you hear and feel every motor move everytime adjustments are made, and when the gear comes up and whatnot.
