I'd prefer 90s with dew points in the 70s.

I bacpacked just north of you in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness last week. The temps were great, 40 to 75, but man it was humid! Probably because we were under trees a lot of the time. There are some pretty steep hills in Washington.

Must pick up some of that west side humidity. I have always presumed my summer climate is more similar to Yakima though I'm 3000' higher.

Don't know, could have been the beer and whisky that came before and after those two.

I just don't think I could live in an apartment, I wouldn't even want to live in a subdivision unless I was forced to. I've got to have my space and privacy. I'd rather not be forced to interact with any more people than absolutely necessary.

Cracked me up when the cab was taking me from the airport to the hotels and I asked "why are all the gravesites above ground? Like a bunch of mausoleums?"

Lafayette cemetery is amazing. It's like a grave city. Amazing tombs.

Well, with all the sour mix, limes, and lemons I've had lately I shouldn't have to worry about scurvy.

Cool site. Old history in NOLA.

This tidbit from the St. Louis #1 cemetery. Shows the Supreme Court is not infallible.

There are many notable figures buried here. Homer Plessy a Creole man who boarded a white only railroad car in 1892 in violation of Louisiana state law at that time. His case went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court in the famous Plessy vs Ferguson case that institutionalized segregation in the south for the next 60+ years. He was buried in 1925.
