CADBC for me....I've worked on those Hummers and they are collosal pieces of crap! I'll take my chances with the tank...at least it won't fall apart or break down as much as the POS hummer. Now if you had a Raptor for the choice instead of the Hummer I think that would work better

Ewww, I remember that one. First time around I dropped it due to a teacher who would put on a Public TV program on linear Regression and then expect everyone to be able to do it.....second time was OK but it sucked. And I have NEVER EVER used any of that stuff in my life....

You know its been hot when the high today was 92 and it felt really comfortable, even thought to myself that the wind was a little nippy when I was getting out of the pool wet. A week or two of 100 plus makes 92 seem wonderful, but when you think about it that's 15 degrees cooler than it was a few days ago. Supposed to be in the high 80s til the end of the week, and it looks like we have a pretty good shot at getting some rain tomorrow and Wednesday!

While we were 10 degrees cooler, the humidity is up....I'd take the higher heat with lower humidity....it was miserable out there today.

Same here, temp is down to the high 80s but humidity is down too. It was nice to walk outside and be able to breathe. We had another wicked storm come through about 5 am. Thunder was rattling the house.....scary. Poor doggie was so scared.

was up to 100 again today, but we've got some rain moving in, so hopefully it'll cool down.

Kicked it today. Supposed to do some carpentry work but got diverted to the roof. Blew the pine needles off, cleaned the gutters out, brushed the chimney out, then moved & stacked a ton+ of hay in the barn to make room for new... four fall chores done early.
Oh and placed my AC on the roof... lol (a sprinkler that cools down the roof and attic. Drops the house temp from high 70's/80 to low 70's.)
Now out to the addition. I'm gonna at least get started on water lines and elec before a late happy hour/dinner.

And its already quit. Got about 15 minutes worth, better than nothing. Maybe it'll at least settle the dust for a bit.

Had good afternoon rain shower every day in Salida since I got here Saturday. Had a gully washer this afternoon. We installed a rain barrel today, that will be probably be the end of any precipitation for the next year.

I feel goood tonight.
I love the sound of the rain on the roof in the hot summer. But the sprinkler works pretty good too.

Hope things are good on your end also!

Any Formula 1 fans on MCTC?

Man - this Sunday's race in England... Webber runnin' down Alonso the last 5 laps or so... and then making that high speed pass on the outside FTW!! That's one of the best I've seen. Awesome race!! Really fast.
Lotus did well 5 & 6 but not on the podium.
Wish I could go to Austin. Saw Long Beach (thanx Kelly in the ocean view pad!)

OK, on to NHRA. Busy weekend recording. lol

PS: I watched Daytona this weekend. That was some pretty good racing! Still don't like the wipe outs. Its almost like hockey. I want to watch who has the best machine with the best driver - not so much who is best at wrecking other guys faces or cars.

Did you see how close that steering wheel came to taking out Danica? It actually hits the bottom of her helmet's chin guard and jerks her head. Safety failure.
