Man I cant believe that I only have 1 more full day and a morning left here on this FOB. Trying to fly outta here Friday morning to Bagram. Hopefully I am not on Bagram for very long. Then it will be Kuwait and then home bound from there. Hoping to be back in the states before July 4th so I can spend it with my daughter.

Yeah it has been a crazy week for me so far. Today I spent more than I wanted to mailing all of my stuff home. I am down to just a duffel and a backpack now.

That's why we don't trust them. Its not because we're too stupid to keep up, its because we assume that anyone in that big of a hurry is trying to pull something and get away quick.

yeah tomorrow I ship my toolbox and get all my bags weighed for the trip to Bagram. There is a 350lb total limit on this flight. Hoping I make it

I can put on a southern accent if it makes you feel better...I can also put on a fast paced yankee draw for the New York/New Jersey peeps....side effect of being a sales rep and having to deal with everyone from southern VA to New York....But we have a book that we issue to immigrants to help Y'all understand the lingo....I'm fittin ta do some cleanin, if I find it I'll send it to ya!

I think I'm about ready to snap on some parts people....
Call up..."I need a Rear axle seal for a '68 Mustang, 289, automatic"
Delivery guy shows up with a rear main seal for the engine..
Call back "I SAID, rear AXLE seal....not rear main seal!"....response is "sorry, I was at the front counter and covered up....have to order it, will be here in the morning"
This morning delivery guy shows up with 2 seals...Typically if there is a question they will send both parts....the ticket reads "pinion seals" and they are most definitely 2 different pinion seals and NOT axle seals.
So I call back again "Strike two, you sent me PINION seals...not axle seals"....Response "Well that's what the computer tells me is the outer axle seal"
So I say "Well the computer is wrong and now I have a car torn apart that's been on the lift for 2 days waiting on an axle seal. You know those big thick books you have behind the counter?...Those are parts books, try using one instead relying on the computer...I bet it gives you the right part number."
