Jill, you should use your brother's MD house. I doubt he would think you are taking advantage. We have a vacation/retirement home in CO that we use about 5 months out of the year. The rest of the time it is free to use for family, friends, and friends of family. It gets a lot of use and we would rather have someone there than have it sitting empty. I bet your brother fells the same way. If no one is using it then it is not a home, it is just a house

So today I was going to the bank and as I'm turning right to get on the road to the bank, a (sears) delivery truck tries to cross the intersection and has to slam on his brakes cause there's traffic coming.
So I pull in to the parking and he pulls up to the ATM around the corner. As I'm leaving, he starts pulling out so I wait since he has the right of way and he must not have known what he was doing (like I didn't already know that) cause he scraped the entire side of the awning of the drive-thru with the side of his truck. Took a big chunk of the awning right off. He stopped for like two seconds, and then kept going. Couldn't believe it.

my youngest is a huge Caps fan he has been able to catch a few games from Hawaii by streaming them on his computer. With the time difference it's hard for him to catch them.
