I havent really had anythign to do with the server side of things in quite some time.

As far as your first tab, i really dont know, are you in FF or IE? Also do you keep your temp files cleaned out? I had a few days ago on my work PC that i forgot to set it to keep temporary internet files cleaned out, my friggin webmail wouldnt load. Just stupid silly crazy things that can happen when the cache gets backed up.

Also what hughesnet modem do you have? Cause my signal is normally around 170. Its currently 166 and browsing fine. I have a HN9000 system. If yours is down in the double digits, honestly compared to all the other HN systems ive used, thats a low signal.

IE 9.
Yes I clean daily - often a couple of times a day depending how many sites I visit and/or secure account sites. Also the Control Panel/Performance Info & Tools/Open Disk Cleanup.

But this TMS log off is new - and no I hadn't cleared cookies just then which would have logged me off.

Mines a 7000 installed 8.07 aimed at 99W. The installer thought 80 has great - said most were 50-60. Maybe the new ones use a different scale.

Thanx.

EDIT - and I can tell when its Hughes acting up and not TMS because none of my tabs will load. Also, my signal was suddenly dropping last month really low - then the error said it was antenna pointing. I look outside and not a bit of wind. I started thinking a tree was growing too tall and in the way, but it really didn't look like it from the dish.
So this went on for about 3 weeks intermittently. Then suddenly boom! and I'm back to 80. So clearly it was some crappy piece of equipment at Hughes that was failing and they took their sweet time to replace it.

But that is separate from the TMS slow & hangs that happen pretty often. And this new log off thing (twice) is totally new.

EDIT EDIT - did you upgrade to the 9000? did that do anything? Cause I remember you having hughes issues a year or so back

I assume the fundamentals of the underlying stock are less important than which way it moves, right? I mean who cares about the company - your just trying to make money based on the strike price right?

Are these mini's? What exchange or broker are you on?
When you sell a put it's really a covered put. So selling a $2.50 put you need to have $250 that they hold on to. This way if you get assigned they get their money. If you sell a call, you need to own the stock which they hold on to.

I'm on Etrade and Options House. I switched to Options House because their stock trades are $3.95 and options are 5 for $5.00, or $8.50 for 10 and 15 cents each. Etrade is $9.95 for stocks, and $9.95 plus 75 cents per option.

I don't know what a mini is.

I've backed up an SN95 and an S197. Neither are great, but the SN is terrible.

I love backing up my truck

The marlins haven't been even decent since '04ish, and who in their right mind makes an open roof stadium in MIAMI?! The Rays are nice to watch because they're inside. And they want an open air stadium too. I've been to Rays spring training games, and you just sit there and bake. It's not near enjoyable, and you back under the stands by the vendors just to cool off.

It's decent in October though... Not the marlins have felt that lately

Driest August on record so far here, and it doesn't look like any rain coming by the end of the month. So far this month we've had .01 inch.

I'm really surprised to hear that, it's been raining 4 days a week at least here this month. Back into the normal florida swing of things

He can have the hurricane. We are starting to get ready. Cleaning gutters and drains, getting the generators ready and filling up conatiners and freezing them in case we lose power. We've been lucky with power outages since they ran our electric underground a few years ago. Don't have to worry about tres falling on the lines anymore. We aren't that close to the coast, but we got hit really hard a few years ago with hurricane Isabel.

Dennis they are evacuating OC. Everyone has to be gone tonight. Make sure you check the webcams (if they will work during the storm)
