You know I think I used to have some of those in a backpack first aid kit years ago. brb

That's where mine stays too. It seems to work best if used right after the sting. I don't recall it being as effective later on.

Couldn't find any. Need to get some (though I'm rarely stung). Tried bactine, back to ice. Maybe I'll try some of that Aussie Tea Tree oil.

This is kind of strange - the stings don't really bother me anymore, but my wrist is red and swollen for about halfway to my elbow.

The 6-8 stings the other day didn't do this.

Maybe I'm allergic to baking soda. lol

I'll fix it.

Found it - inside the snakebite kit. You know the rubber holder with the suction device, the exacto blade, the tourniquet, the sting-eze, and the instructions in super fine print? So where's the reading glasses??

You may want to try some Benadryl too Charlie, not the topical stuff. Might help with the reaction to try and treat it internally.

Don't laugh. Disney made billions off of a series a movies inspired by a theme park ride. And not a very good one at that.
Do I get anything from that, I've contributed a little.

Yeah it is. But just in the 6-7 hrs since I was asleep it sure moved into gear finally.
Its will still drive. Just got the fender, hood, windshield, dented the roof and door in a couple places. Saved the 62 jeep though so I'm happy about that. Even used it to yank the tree off the jeep after we got my truck free. But it is a Ford so.

Good idea. But I don't have allergies and haven't had colds in like 12+ years with my red clover tea and cinnamon oil, so there's none around here.

Its prob hard to tell since you don't see my arms everyday, but the left wrist is still pretty swollen like 10 hrs later.

What I don't get, is why the stings the other day didn't swell like that.

Is it just a more sensitive area? (jokes and die!)

Going back to school is going to be hell. Literally! Stupid train construction completely messed up the campus shuttle route which means EVERYONE has to learn the route. Not just the freshman who slow it down the first couple weeks. Of course all my classes have to be spread out all over campus, and as far away from the shuttle stops as they can be. ****, I hate school! METCOUNCIL MAY YOU BURN IN HELL!!!!!

And at least half of the books I need for a class are currently unavailable on amazon. School bookstore doesn't have them either. Hell, one of them won't even be released til the end of september. I DO NOT WANT TO GO BACK!!!

When do you have to go back? Next week? Look at it this way, maybe this will be the year you meet a nice girl.

It's relatively common for people to develop an allergy to stings later in life and it can happen at any time. Something about the more you get stung, the more likely it can be to develop an allergy. Happened to my sister-in-law. I'm sure you can google it and do some more research. That's why I said you need to treat it internally. Nothing topical is going to help you.
